Evidence for Learning has decided to put further Learning Impact Fund grants on hold until there is greater clarity on the national investment into education evidence. We will reconsider timing for the next Learning Impact Fund round in late 2018.
In recent months, there have been significant changes in the Australian education evidence landscape. With the Gonski 2.0 Review due to be delivered in December 2017, the final shape of that landscape remains unclear.
To be notified when we open our next grant round, please subscribe to the Evidence for Learning e-news.
When we resume the Learning Impact Fund grant process, grant rounds will run in two forms:
- General rounds, when we are open to applications in any area; or
- Themed rounds, when we accept applications focused only on a specific area (e.g. mental health, STEM – science, technology, engineering and math, etc.).
The Learning Impact Fund will accept applications when a funding round is open up until the advertised closing date. We will then review all applications together. There is no advantage in submitting applications early in a funding round.
There are currently no Learning Impact Fund rounds open.
Several programs have received grants from the Learning Impact Fund and are running trials in schools. Read about our current projects and how these trials are conducted.
We welcome you contacting us to discuss whether your idea has the potential to meet the Learning Impact Fund criteria.
